  1. I would certainly argue the claim that all conservative thinking people are idiots who cannot be talked with because of their inabiity to maintain a civil and intelligent debate. Although I am aware that there are plenty of ignorant conservatives who are identical to that particular description, there are also liberals who are also, identical. To make such a horribly inaccurate generalization is wrong however, because I understand, from a conservative point of view, that although I may disagree on even every thing you may say, you have the right to feel what you feel. Your opinions are just as important as mine, whether they are in line with them or not. And I can assure you, I've been on the wrong side of numerous slights concerning my "lack of education," among other things, as a result of the fact I'm from West Virginia. (Despite having a degree in Finance) I hope that you can see that not all right-wing persons are that way, and that unfortunately those exist in the corners of every political approach. The issue in our debate here is in fact the same issues that are at the heart of the problems with our government, both sides are completely deadlocked and if an inch is given, somehow you don't belong. It is not a matter of "democrats are intelligent and right and republicans are dumb and wrong" or vice versa, its a matter of what is in the best interest of this country. Obama has put good ideas on the table and they've been shot down like the bad ones because of what party he's apart of. And a week later, the republicans propose the same idea, and suddenly its a fantastic solution to our problem...the meaningless bantor must stop and someone must stand up against the middle school dance approach with all people on one side or another with no one inbetween...
