I have to hand it to, Duke. They're great. But, Butler did us all a service tonight. Can you imagine how much fun we could have in football if we used the Bowl Games as playoff games in December, starting them the second week in December in all the WARM cities where they happen. 16 teams, the 11 that WON their Conference, and five at large teams. 16, 8, 4, and 2 that play in the Rose Bowl every New Year's Day? Would that be awesome, or what!?
We can do this, people. Write your Congressman. Utah would have had two National Championships in the last five years! LIGIT, Championships. Not, "mythical" championships. Like, Florida and Alabama have had lately. Alabama? Really? You couldn't beat, Utah in your own back yard in 2009, but you took that trophy home? Really? You should ship it to us, because you suck! Only five months until college football. We will be beating, Pitt to open the season. And to the guy from, Oklahoma who was sitting behind me last May at the, Jimmy Buffett concert in Las Vegas who was telling me that Utah wouldn't have been a National Champion the year before because our conference couldn't compete with HIS. I have to remind him that, BYU beat his, Sooners last September and broke his quarterback's leg. And the, Sooner's sucked last year.
